Nicky Otts
Owner and Chief Executive Officer
Nicky is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Encore Specialty Pharmacy and brings more than 50 years of experience in the pharmacy industry. Throughout his career, he has built and led pharmacy organizations focused on expanding patient access to high-quality care while delivering innovative solutions for healthcare partners.
Nicky is best known for founding ReCept Pharmacy in 1978, a specialty pharmacy organization that grew into a nationally recognized platform before he sold part of the business to Omnicell. In 2023, he rebranded the organization as Encore Pharmacy, continuing his commitment to building a patient-centered specialty pharmacy that supports manufacturers, providers, and patients across the country.
He earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1975 and has spent his career advancing pharmacy services and creating opportunities for pharmacies to better serve their communities.
Chris Amune, PharmD
President
Chris serves as President of Encore Specialty Pharmacy, where he leads the company’s strategy, growth, and operational execution. With more than a decade of experience in specialty pharmacy and healthcare services, Chris has built a reputation for developing high-performing pharmacy programs that improve patient access to complex therapies while delivering strong operational and financial results.
Over the course of his career, Chris has led operations and strategic initiatives supporting more than 30 specialty and outpatient pharmacy programs nationwide. He has worked closely with health systems, clinics, and payer partners to develop specialty pharmacy strategies that enhance speed to therapy, strengthen clinical programs, and expand access to care for patients with chronic and complex conditions.
Chris earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University and has studied business through a Master of Business Administration program with a focus in strategic management at the University of North Texas. At Encore Specialty Pharmacy, he is focused on building strategic partnerships and advancing the company’s mission of delivering Specialty Care with a Community Heart to the patients and communities it serves.
Paul Williams, PharmD, MBA
Director, Specialty Pharmacy Operations
Paul earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lamar University. He currently serves as Director of Specialty Pharmacy Services, where he leads efforts focused on specialty pharmacy development, operational excellence, and team performance.
With seven years of experience across retail and specialty pharmacy, Paul has developed strong expertise in managing large pharmacy teams, optimizing pharmacy operations, and strengthening collaboration between pharmacists, healthcare providers, and strategic partners.
Dennis Nguyen, PharmD
Manager, Specialty Pharmacy Services
Dennis serves as the Pharmacy Manager with over six years of pharmacy in ambulatory and specialty pharmacy settings. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from Texas Southern University, located in Houston, TX.
Dennis focuses on the clinical and operational components required to support patients receiving complex therapies. In his current role, he leads the daily operations of Encore Specialty Pharmacy, overseeing both the pharmacy dispensing team and patient support call center to ensure efficient coordination of care and timely medication access.
Dennis plays a critical role in maintaining the pharmacy’s accreditation standards and ensuring that clinical programs, dispensing workflows, and patient support services operate at the highest level of quality and compliance. Known for his analytical mindset and attention to detail, he helps drive operational improvements while supporting the pharmacy’s continued growth.
Fluent in English, German, and Vietnamese, Dennis is committed to serving diverse patient populations and fostering a collaborative team environment that prioritizes patient outcomes.
Ebony Hamilton, MSB
Manager, Strategic Partnerships
Ebony is a dynamic and solutions-focused Manager of Strategic Partnerships known for her ability to build meaningful relationships, elevate customer value, and drive collaborative growth across complex business ecosystems. With a strong foundation in customer success and a passion for cross-functional alignment, Ebony excels at identifying high-impact opportunities, strengthening partner engagement, and shaping strategies that enhance outcomes for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Throughout her career, Ebony has been recognized for her strategic mindset, communication excellence, and talent for navigating operational challenges with clarity and empathy. She brings a unique blend of relationship management, business acumen, and execution discipline, allowing her to serve as a trusted connector between partners, leadership teams, and customers.
Ebony holds a Master of Science in Business from The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), where she built the analytical, strategic, and organizational leadership skills that continue to shape her professional impact
